On the tour
The Classic covers the three signature stops in about two and a half hours and suits first-timers, families, and cruise guests. The Premium Tour is a longer, more leisurely paced tour that adds Jordan Pond and more time at each stop, for ages 13 and older. A Private tour gives your group its own vehicle, guide, and flexible departure times.
Yes, at our ticket office and at each stop in the park. It is usually no more than about 30 to 40 minutes between stops.
Complimentary bottled water is provided on all tours. Guests are welcome to bring food/snacks along.
Yes, you can get it stamped at each of the stops we make in the park.
We handle it. The summit reservation is part of the tour, so there is nothing for you to arrange.
Getting here and parking
There are paid parking options available throughout downtown Bar Harbor. We recommend downloading the ParkMobile app on your phone to facilitate parking. Parking can be a real challenge during the busy season, particularly in the afternoon, so please allow extra time and plan ahead. Avoid parking altogether by utilizing the Island Explorer free shuttle service. The shuttle drops off at the Village Green in downtown Bar Harbor, which is about a 5 minute walk to/from our location at 53 Main Street.
Yes — that is our specialty. All of our morning departures are timed so cruise guests are back in downtown Bar Harbor with a comfortable margin before all-aboard.
Accessibility and pets
On the Classic Tour, if you have a folding wheelchair or walker and can manage a few steps, we are glad to bring it along. If you need a wheelchair lift to board, contact us and we will make arrangements. The Premium Tour is not wheelchair accessible. See our Accessibility policy for details.
Licensed service animals are always welcome. Other pets are not permitted on the tour.
