My great grandfather was George
B. Dorr’s (Acadia’s first superintendent) caretaker
and chauffeur. My great grandfather, great uncle and
grandmother all worked worked for the National Park Service
for a grand total of 84 years from 1925 to 1986.
My grandfather Sonny Cough, and his brother,
Jimmy, started this company in 1955 and set the standard
for land tours in the Bar Harbor area. The company has remained
family owned and operated ever since.
It is now my mission to continue providing
the most informative, accurate, enjoyable, and safe sightseeing
experience available in our area.
